SASSI
"I have always believed that starting a business is easy... it’s keeping it going that’s the tough part!"
SASSI is an acronym for Success, Advice, Support, Sharing and inspiration and was founded by Sharon Ferrier in 2009.
It is a business mentoring club for women who are mothers and who manage their own business. SASSI members meet monthly to discuss better business building solutions and ways of achieving that elusive work life balance.

SASSI testimonials
"Sharon's support as well as her enthusiastic manner has been an enormous inspiration for me. Without Sharon always been available and full of ideas there is no way that my business and most importantly my confidence and professionalism would have grown to the extent that they have. Her common sense approach and her ability to help simplify what seems confusing has enabled me to come up with great solutions."
Sarah Davies - Sarah Davies Visual Design
"Sharon is an experienced and dynamic facilitator who has helped many businesses grow from humble beginnings to greatness."
Jodie Benveniste Director - Parent Wellbeing : Work + Life Wellbeing
"They say small businesses last on average 5 years. I started my little business in 2005 and considering 2010 has been my best year yet, I must be an exception. However, if it weren't for SASSI I might have been a statistic. Although, I was busy, I was drowning. I could not manage all that I had. SASSI was like having my first born all over. It gave me back the focus and confidence I had forgotten. I became a force to be reckoned with, but with empathy and insight. My little business is now beyond the best I imagined and I now see opportunity to employ other mums, who also know what can be achieved in a day. "
Comissa Fischer - Miss Fisch Creative Services
"Sharon has a way of cutting to the chase, while keeping the group on topic and motivated. A great facilitator, she invites input from everyone. She's got a wealth of knowledge, lots of great contacts and what impresses me the most is that she gets specific with suggested plans of action rather than giving you the usual rah-rah general guff. I got a lot out of SASSI."
Karen Zaskolny - Copy with Cream, Copywriter
"As a sole trader being a member of the SASSI group is an invaluable tool for my business. To be able to meet with a wonderful group of women who are also owner/operators once a month provides me with confidence, renewed energy, wonderful ideas and a great sounding board that I would not otherwise have. Thank you for starting and facilitating this group."
Simone Ward - Flora Illusions
"I found Sharon's coaching added to the overall direction of my business through her advice, business experience and contacts. She became my advisor and constructively questioned why I was making business decisions, and most importantly where I was taking the business. Sharon also challenged me to think outside the business "box", encouraged innovative business thinking and coached me on how to achieve the illusive "work life balance"
Lisa Twyford - Clear Business Decisions
"Sharon's leadership in our SASSI group meetings has helped me personally as well as my business. I have found that my confidence and level of professionalism have both increased, and I have achieved a lot more with the group's encouragement and advice than I certainly would have achieved without it."
